A short walkthrough: what GEN Bench is, how it works, and how it's set up. Opens with the GEN mark and this product's name — every film in the library is made for its product.
What it is
The Bench is a firm's owned roster: the operators, advisors, experts, and relationship contacts it can call on — recruited, profiled, and kept current as a proprietary asset rather than rented from a network at the moment of need. Modeled on the owned-bench approach of specialist firms, the Bench is built in calm times, screened against the firm's real needs, and drawn on by Shortlist when a brief arrives.
How it works
The firm's bench needs are defined: which expertise, which sectors, which roles.
Candidates are recruited and profiled with evidence: background, fit, availability, restrictions.
Profiles are verified and refreshed on a cadence — a stale bench is treated as no bench.
Shortlist draws from the Bench first when a brief arrives.
Engagements and outcomes are recorded back to the profile, deepening the asset.
