What it is

What GEN Client Snapshot is

The Client Snapshot is the one-screen view of a client's GEN system: their companies with registry numbers, pipeline health, coverage, calendar and communication activity, vault health, and the exceptions that need a decision. It is generated from the same governed data as the dashboards and reports, scoped by permission — a company sees itself, a parent sees its portfolio in aggregate. It is what a client opens to answer 'how is the system doing?' in thirty seconds.

How it works

How it works

The snapshot assembles live from the Registry, CRM, and operating reports.

Tiles are permission-scoped: the viewer sees exactly their level — company detail or parent aggregate.

Exceptions are promoted to the top: overdue actions, stale lists, blocked items, quiet channels.

Every tile drills into the underlying dashboard or report — the snapshot is an index, not a summary someone typed.

The snapshot view is itself a numbered, versioned surface.

The details

The details

  • Sample and demonstration snapshots use clearly labeled fictional data — always.
  • No silent full access: the parent's snapshot is aggregate by design, per the permission matrix.
  • The snapshot is the demo surface for prospects and the health surface for clients — same system, different data scopes.
  • Designed to be read in under a minute: health first, detail one tap down.
  • Works across the portfolio: one parent, twenty companies, one screen.

Set up

How it's set up

Define the client's snapshot tiles from the standard set.

Bind scopes: who sees company detail, who sees parent aggregate.

Connect the live data sources and verify the numbers reconcile with the reports.

Review the first snapshot with the client and tune exception thresholds.

The company

Its own system's health at a glance — no report archaeology.

The person
