What it is

What GEN Site Voice is

Site Voice is the talking agent on a company's GEN website: a voiced assistant, started explicitly by the visitor, that answers from the company's Knowledge Vault — what the company does, who it serves, how engagements work — and routes the conversation to capture, booking, or a human. It knows the company's public knowledge cold, keeps private retrieval private, and never invents: when the vault is silent, it says so and offers a human path.

How it works

How it works

The visitor starts the voice conversation explicitly — no automatic microphone capture, ever.

The agent answers from the company's vault and public pages, with the same facts the site states.

Interest is routed: capture a record into the CRM, offer the right calendar, or hand to a human.

Every conversation is logged to the CRM with an owner and a next action where one is due.

Operators review conversations and improve the vault where answers were missing.

The details

The details

  • Trained on the GEN knowledge base for GEN's own site; each client company's agent is trained on that company's vault.
  • American-English voice as standard; the voice tells callers they can save the business number and call or text it any time.
  • Public knowledge and private records are separate retrieval classes — the agent never blends them.
  • The agent identifies itself as the company's assistant, never as a human.
  • Guardrails are the matrix's: approved knowledge, approved actions, human approval for anything external.

Set up

How it's set up

Train the agent on the company's vault and site content.

Set routing rules: capture fields, calendar offers, human handoff triggers.

Test the conversation set, including the questions it must decline.

Place it on the site and review the first conversations with the operators.
