Core system component

A short walkthrough: what GEN Phone Agent is, how it works, and how it's set up. Opens with the GEN mark and this product's name — every film in the library is made for its product.
What it is
The Phone Agent is the company's AI on the telephone lines: it answers inbound calls, holds real conversations, books appointments onto the right person's calendar, routes and escalates to humans by rule, and works approved outbound follow-up. It speaks in a natural American voice, identifies itself honestly, tells callers they can save the number and call or text any time, and writes everything back to the CRM — summary, outcome, and next action — on every call.
How it works
Inbound calls are answered on the company's numbers, including its rotating pools.
The agent converses from the company's vault: services, availability, booking, routing.
Appointments land on the correct separate calendar — company and person scopes respected.
Escalation rules hand live calls to operators or named humans with context attached.
Every call closes into the CRM: recording reference, summary, outcome, next action, owner.
